I’m so happy that W.W.W. (Working Woman Wednesday) is back. I’m going to do my best to make sure it’s here to stay. It feels good to be able to help single moms, as a product of a single parent family, I know how tight things can be. This weeks winner is Katie from Mesa, AZ who was nominated by her best friend Marissa, who i just realized was the week 7 winner. Crazy, right? I guess everything really does come full circle. Anyway, just like every other week, Katie will receive $50 from me to do with as she wishes, and a signed copy of all 4 of my books. Check out her best friend’s nomination, guarantee it will make your heart MELT! You can nominate yourself or a hard working single mom too, and maybe she can be the next Working Woman Wednesday winner.
“Good Morning Mike, I wanted to nominate someone very special to me my best friend Katie, I’ve known her for over 10 years and she never seizes to amaze me. Throughout the years of our friendship I’ve watched her struggle through evictions, struggle through controlling abusive relationships, I’ve watched her struggle with depression and struggle not having her family to turn to, and the hardest of them all when she lost her baby boy Avery. Despite everything that was made to break her spirt she remained humble loving and giving. She’s a momma of 4 crazy beautiful children whom I’ve grown to love as my own, Christopher who is 12, Lilliana who is 10, Aubryanna who is 4, and Bryson who is 1. Katie has her hands full with these littles, and never loses her smile. I don’t think ive ever met anyone who continues to be so positive and happy given the sometimes unbearable losses and struggles this life has given her. I’m so proud of the woman and mother she is, she’s the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back the last $5 to her name if you needed it she was willing to help. Such a selfless person who I am blessed to call my bestfriend. She deserves all good in this world! She’s a single mom who works hard everyday to provide for those little and never complains. I can see how tired she is sometimes but not matter what she pushes through. I wish there was a way I can show her that she is appreciated and that WE see her and all she does. Thank you Mike for allowing me the opportunity to nominate such an amazing person who genuinely deserves this and more! Love her bestie for life! Marissa
